Bordeaux, France: walked to a near by wine bar to meet with an American author living in France...very interested guy.
opened a bottle of '07 & '98 Chateau Ripeau Grand Cru Classe, and enjoyed that afternoon learning about what it was like to live in Bordeaux as an Expat...if you have the money - this is the place you want to be.
